Saint Peter's Food Pantry provides supplemental groceries to the needy. It is held on the third Saturday of each month in the school parking lot. It is open from 9 - 11 a.m., with set-up starting around 7:30 a.m. You can assist by: helping to sort, bag and dispense grocery items, delivering food to shut-ins, and picking up donated food from government food programs and the Southern Maryland Food Bank.
Both financial and food donations are gratefully accepted. Donations of food may be left in the baskets at the back of Saint Peter’s sanctuary or in the vestibule of the Parish Office. Top needs are spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, macaroni & cheese, peanut butter, cereal, jelly, canned meat and canned vegetables. Please do not donate perishable food or items packed in plastic bags. Please also avoid glass if possible.
Thank you for sharing your gifts with those in need. Please contact the Parish Office for information or to volunteer.
