Since 1952, Court St. Peter #1618 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) has been a vital part of parish life at Saint Peter’s Church. As part of an international organization under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, Court St. Peter is active in our parish and our community as a witness for our Catholic beliefs through worship, service, and action.
Court St. Peter has more than 50 members and meets in the school auditorium on the second Thursday of each month. The social starts at 6:30 p.m.; the meeting at 7 p.m. where they discuss business, pray, share spirituality, plan charitable endeavors and enjoy time together. Activities such as days of recollection and special Masses provide spiritual growth and consolation. The group supports many worthy causes such as: Saint Peter’s Scholarship Fund, The Catherine Foundation, Saint Peter’s Food Pantry, Charles County Literacy Council, and Health Partners in connection with Good Stuff Thrift Store.
Membership is open to Catholic women age 18 and over. To learn more about Court St. Peter or to join, contact Kathy Pheulpin at 301-843-6130 or email her at [email protected]t.
